Company Policies

Company Policies

  1. No costumes will be given or taken home until paid for (which includes shoes and tights)
  2. A child may not perform at recital or competition until fees are paid.
  3. If a team member quits, they forfeit fundraiser money.
  4. The instructor has the ability to terminate a client/company relationship if any policy is broken, or team contract is violated. Subject to no refund.
  5. Registration for any group or private lesson is a first come first serve basis.
  6. Ill behavior or unsportsmanlike conduct by dancer OR family member may result in suspension or termination.
  7. RSDA is not liable for any injuries. By attending class, dancers and families assume all risk of injury.
  8. There are late fees associated with past due accounts.
  9. Once a costume is ordered, there are no refunds or returns allowed due to dropping out, termination, or suspension.
  10. Weather related closings- If Evansville School District is closed, or if they cancel after school activities, there will be no dance. RSDA can cancel class if the weather conditions deteriorate throughout the day. If dance is canceled due to weather, there will be makeup lessons.
  11. If the Evansville School District is closed due to holiday or any other matter, there is no dance, and it is not subject to makeup lessons.
  12. Photo and video footage is released to RSDA.
  13. If a dancer does not attend class due to injury, for more than 1 class period, a doctor’s note is required. In addition, parents MUST contact director to notify of absence/injury.
  14. If a dancer is injured and cannot attend class, no refunds will be issued unless there are special circumstances, determined by director.
  15. Competition team members are required to attend every practice, UNLESS director is contacted and excuses absence.
  16. Competition Fees will not be refunded for any reason. Fees are paid directly to the competition companies and are not available for refund.
